India, July 23 -- Zinc futures gained on Thursday as traders increased their positions amid firm demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the July contract rose Rs. 2.50 (0.65%) to Rs. 385.25 per kg, while the August contract advanced Rs. 1.10 (0.29%) to Rs. 377.90 per kg.
The gains were supported by fresh buying from market participants and sustained demand in the futures market.
