India, Sept. 3 -- Zinc futures moved higher on Thursday, supported by increased buying activity among market participants and firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for September delivery gained 45 paise, or 0.11%, to Rs 414.20 per kg, with a business turnover of 780 lots.
Traders said improved demand in the spot market helped lift zinc prices in futures trade.
