India, Nov. 3 -- Zinc prices moved higher in futures trade on Monday, rising Rs 3.05 to Rs 301 per kg, supported by increased demand in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the December delivery contract climbed 1.02 per cent to Rs 301 per kg, with a turnover of 460 lots.
According to analysts, the rise in prices was driven by traders expanding their positions in response to improved buying from consuming industries.
