India, Sept. 28 -- Zinc prices declined Rs 4.55, or 1.08%, to Rs 417.80 per kg in futures trade on Monday, as market participants reduced their positions amid weak cues from the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts traded at Rs 417.80 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,491 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to reduced positions by speculators amid subdued demand from consuming industries in the physical market.
