India, Jan. 13 -- Zinc prices moved slightly higher in futures trade on Tuesday, supported by limited buying at lower levels even as traders remained cautious in the absence of fresh market triggers.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for February delivery rose by Rs 1.10, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 314.85 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,931 lots.
Market participants said the modest uptick was driven by selective demand, while overall sentiment stayed subdued due to the lack of strong cues.
