India, April 23 -- Zinc prices slipped on Thursday, with futures declining by Re 1 to Rs 345.65 per kg as traders cut down positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, zinc contracts for May delivery fell 0.29% in a turnover of 294 lots.
Analysts said reduced participation and softer demand from consuming industries in the physical market weighed on prices.
