India, March 5 -- Zinc prices rose marginally by Rs 1.40 to Rs 331.45 per kg in futures trade on Thursday, supported by firm demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, zinc contracts for April delivery increased Rs 1.40, or 0.42%, to Rs 331.45 per kg, with a turnover of 111 lots.
Traders said the uptick in zinc futures was driven by fresh positions built by market participants.
