India, May 19 -- Zinc futures traded marginally higher on Tuesday as traders increased their positions amid firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery gained 75 paise, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 363.30 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 229 lots.

Market participants said stronger spot demand supported the uptick in zinc futures prices.
