India, May 13 -- Zinc futures traded marginally higher on Wednesday, supported by stronger demand in the spot market and fresh buying by traders.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for June delivery rose Rs 1.65, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 361.80 per kg, with a business turnover of 520 lots.
Market participants said the uptick in zinc prices was mainly driven by increased positions taken by traders amid improving demand conditions.
