India, April 20 -- Zinc futures inched up on Monday, rising Rs 2.50 to Rs 339.55 per kg, supported by improved demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, May delivery contracts gained 0.74% to Rs 339.55 per kg, with a turnover of 137 lots.

Market participants said increased buying interest and fresh positions by traders contributed to the uptick in prices.
