India, July 28 -- Zinc futures declined by Rs. 2.70 to Rs. 377 per kg on Tuesday as traders reduced their positions amid weak demand in the physical market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August delivery contracts fell 0.71% to Rs. 377 per kg, with a trading volume of 387 lots.

According to analysts, subdued demand from consuming industries in the spot market prompted market participants to trim their positions, weighing on zinc futures prices.
