India, Oct. 27 -- Zinc futures prices declined by Rs 2.25 to Rs 420.85 per kilogram on Tuesday, as traders reduced their positions amid negative cues from the spot market and subdued demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for November delivery fell by Rs 2.25, or 0.53%, to Rs 420.85 per kg, with a business turnover of 797 lots.

According to analysts, reduced demand from consuming industries in the physical market prompted market participants to trim their positions, weighing on zinc futures prices.
