India, Aug. 3 -- Zinc futures traded higher on Monday, with the August contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rising Rs 6.90, or 1.8%, to Rs 390.70 per kg.
The contract recorded a business turnover of 1,350 lots, with traders attributing the gains to strong demand in the spot market, which encouraged fresh buying in zinc futures.
