India, July 13 -- Electric two and three-wheeler manufacturer Zelio E-Mobility has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, as part of its expansion strategy to strengthen its presence in South India.
Spread across 39,000 sq. ft., the new plant will manufacture and assemble electric scooters for key southern markets, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and South Maharashtra. The facility has an installed production capacity of 60,000 units per annum and is expected to produce 24,000–30,000 electric two-wheelers annually in its initial phase.
