India, May 18 -- United Breweries on Monday announced that it will close its brewery unit in Ludhiana, Punjab, effective June 30, 2026.
The company said the decision follows a long-term capacity lease agreement signed with a contract brewing partner, which will help ensure uninterrupted beer supplies across Punjab and nearby markets, including Delhi.
According to the regulatory filing, the brewery located at Focal Point, Ludhiana, will cease operations as part of this strategic arrangement.
