India, July 23 -- UltraTech Cement has approved a proposal to raise up to Rs. 5,000 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis.
The company's Finance Committee has approved the issuance of up to 5,00,000 unsecured, non-convertible, non-cumulative debentures, each with a face value of Rs. 1,00,000.
The company is yet to announce details regarding the tenure, coupon rate, and timing of the proposed issuances.
