India, Sept. 3 -- Tata Power has commissioned the second phase of its Jalpura-Khurja Transmission Project in Uttar Pradesh, strengthening power transmission infrastructure across the NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh.
The newly commissioned element includes a 400kV double-circuit transmission line spanning 162 circuit kilometres (CKM) between Khurja and Jalpura, along with a 400/220kV GIS substation at Jalpura with 1,000 MVA transformation capacity.
The transmission corridor will facilitate efficient power transfer from Khurja towards NCR and Noida, while the new substation will act as a key link between the 400kV high-voltage grid and the 220kV network.
