India, Sept. 1 -- Tata Elxsi has entered into an initial agreement with Bengaluru-based startup Sarla Aviation to collaborate on the development of its Shunya air taxi platform, the design and technology services company said on Tuesday.
Under the partnership, Tata Elxsi will provide engineering expertise covering avionics, flight control systems, software integration, testing, verification and validation, and certification.
Sarla Aviation will be responsible for the design and development of the Shunya platform, along with securing its type certification, the company said.
