India, Jan. 28 -- Suzlon Group, India's largest wind energy solutions provider, on Wednesday announced that it has secured a 248.85 MW wind power order from the ArcelorMittal Group through its renewable energy entity in India.

The order forms part of a 550 MW hybrid renewable project in Gujarat and will be developed for captive consumption to power ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel's facilities in India. With this win, Suzlon continues to strengthen its leadership position in Gujarat, where it has an installed wind capacity base of 4.5 GW, which continues to expand.
