India, July 31 -- Silver futures declined on Friday, with the September contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) falling Rs 817, or 0.37%, to Rs 2,19,150 per kg.

The decline came as traders reduced their positions, with analysts attributing the weakness in silver prices to profit booking and a sell-off by market participants.
