India, July 24 -- Silver futures declined on Friday as traders pared their positions, leading to a fall in prices.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the September contract fell Rs 508, or 0.23%, to Rs 2,18,867 per kg, with a trading volume of 1,084 lots.

Market analysts attributed the decline to profit-booking and reduced positions by market participants.
