India, July 6 -- Silver futures declined on Monday, with the September contract falling Rs 960, or 0.4%, to Rs 2,36,450 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

The contract recorded a trading volume of 720 lots, as participants pared their positions. Analysts attributed the decline to profit booking by traders, which weighed on silver prices in futures trade.
