India, Dec. 26 -- Extending gains for the fifth consecutive session, silver prices on Friday surged Rs 8,951 to touch a new all-time high of Rs 2,32,741 per kilogram in futures trade, tracking strength in the global market where the white metal crossed the USD 75-per ounce mark.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver futures for the March 2026 contract jumped 4 per cent, or Rs 8,951, to hit a record high of Rs 2,32,741 per kg. Silver has risen Rs 29,176, or 14.33 per cent, since December 18.
