India, Aug. 10 -- Silver prices climbed 1.09% to Rs 2.33 lakh per kg in futures trade on Monday, tracking a firm trend in global markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for September delivery gained Rs 2,514, or 1.09%, to trade at Rs 2,33,980 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,496 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise to fresh positions created by market participants, which supported silver prices
