India, Aug. 28 -- Silver futures recovered from early losses on Friday, gaining nearly 2% as easing concerns over global oil supply disruptions supported demand for bullion.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), September silver futures rose Rs 4,149, or 1.72%, to Rs 2,44,800 per kg.

The December contract also advanced Rs 3,760, or 1.52%, to Rs 2,51,569 per kg, tracking firm global trends.
