India, June 17 -- Silver futures prices declined on Wednesday as traders reduced their positions amid a subdued market trend.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for July delivery fell by Rs 959, or 0.38%, to Rs 2,49,146 per kilogram, with a turnover of 673 lots.

According to market analysts, selling pressure and profit-booking by participants weighed on silver prices during the session.
