India, March 16 -- Silver futures declined by Rs 4,232 to Rs 2.55 lakh per kilogram in trade on Monday, pressured by weak domestic demand and a strong US dollar.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, silver contracts for May delivery fell Rs 4,232, or 1.63 percent, to Rs 2,55,203 per kg, with a business turnover of 5,787 lots.
Analysts said soft retail demand in the domestic market along with macroeconomic headwinds in global markets continued to weigh on silver prices.
