India, Oct. 12 -- Silver futures prices declined by Rs 1,067, or 0.47%, to Rs 2,24,688 per kilogram on Monday, October 12, as traders reduced their positions amid selling pressure.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for December delivery traded lower at Rs 2,24,688 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,739 lots.

Market analysts attributed the decline to selling by market participants, which weighed on silver futures prices during the trading session.
