India, Aug. 18 -- Silver futures prices declined Rs 2,535 to Rs 2,41,240 per kg on Tuesday, as market participants reduced their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery fell Rs 2,535, or 1.04 per cent, to Rs 2,41,240 per kg, with a business turnover of 4,317 lots.

Analysts said selling pressure from market participants was the key factor weighing on silver prices in futures trade.
