India, June 8 -- Sigma Advanced Systems has secured an export contract worth US$21.97 million (approximately Rs 208 crore) for the manufacture and supply of 40,000 units of 155 mm M107 artillery shell bodies to a North American customer. The order is scheduled to be executed over a six-month period.

The contract marks a significant milestone for the company as it expands its defence manufacturing capabilities from fuze production to complete artillery shell component manufacturing. The development strengthens Sigma's position as an integrated global defence munitions supplier with expertise in engineering, precision manufacturing, and quality assurance.
