India, July 28 -- Shyam Sel and Power Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited, has commissioned an 8.90 MWp captive solar power project at its manufacturing facility in Jamuria, West Bengal.
The project comprises 4.60 MWp developed under the CAPEX model and 4.30 MWp under the OPEX model. The solar installation is intended for captive consumption, helping the company optimize power costs while increasing the use of clean energy in its operations.
