India, July 16 -- Shivalik Bimetal Controls Ltd. (SBCL) has received Consent to Operate (CTO) from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board for Phase-I of its Pune manufacturing facility, with the approval valid until June 30, 2032.
The approval enables the company to begin phased commercial operations, with production scaling based on customer qualifications and demand. The facility will manufacture value-added components and assemblies for automotive electrification and battery applications, including bus-bar connectors and PCBA assemblies, strengthening SBCL's presence in the EV supply chain.
