India, March 11 -- Sampann Utpadan India Ltd has commissioned and commenced operations of a 4 MW solar power plant in Gujarat as part of its sustainability initiatives.
The solar facility, located in Desar taluka of Vadodara district, became operational on March 10, 2026. The plant is expected to generate around 6 million kWh of clean energy annually, leading to significant savings in power procurement costs for the company.
According to the company, the project will reduce reliance on conventional grid electricity and protect operations from fluctuations in power tariffs, thereby improving efficiency and ensuring long-term cost stability.
