India, March 23 -- The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) has operationalised a comprehensive Internal Audit Portal, marking a major step towards digital-first governance and enhanced institutional oversight. The platform replaces manual audit tracking with a real-time, centralised digital system aimed at improving transparency and accountability.
Developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), the portal was reviewed in the presence of MoRD Secretary Shailesh Kumar Singh, Chief Controller of Accounts Akhilesh Jha, and other senior officials.
