India, Sept. 22 -- The Indian rupee strengthened 13 paise to Rs 95.65 against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday, supported by a pullback in crude oil prices and positive sentiment in domestic equity markets.
The rupee opened at Rs 95.75 at the interbank foreign exchange market before improving to Rs 95.65 against the dollar.
Forex traders attributed the gains to easing concerns over crude oil supply, with Brent crude retreating from elevated levels following increased Saudi Arabian exports through the Strait of Hormuz and expectations of a partial restoration of the damaged East-West pipeline.
