India, Sept. 3 -- RPG Life Sciences' wholly owned subsidiary, RPG Active Pharma Ltd, has agreed to acquire the API and intermediates business of Raghava Life Sciences for up to Rs 135 crore.
The acquisition will be carried out on a going-concern basis through a slump sale, subject to customary closing conditions and the required regulatory approvals, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The transaction represents RPG Active Pharma's second strategic acquisition, following its purchase of Actis Generics. The company said the deal will further strengthen its integrated API capabilities and manufacturing footprint.
