India, June 1 -- Royal Enfield reported a 15 per cent year-on-year increase in total motorcycle sales for May 2026, with overall volumes crossing the one lakh mark.

The company sold 1,03,231 units during the month, compared with 89,429 units in May 2025. Growth was driven by a strong performance in the domestic market, where sales surged 24 per cent to 94,115 units from 75,820 units a year earlier.

Exports, however, witnessed a decline, falling 33 per cent year-on-year to 9,116 units from 13,609 units in the corresponding month last year.

The robust domestic sales performance highlights continued demand for Royal Enfield's mid-size motorcycles, helping offset weakness in overseas markets and supporting overall growth during the month.
