India, July 4 -- Clean energy company ReNew announced on Thursday that it has received a final non-binding offer to acquire all outstanding shares of the company not already held by members of an investor consortium, at a cash price of USD 8 per share.
The offer has been made by a consortium comprising Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC–Masdar, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), Platinum Hawk C 2019 RSC Limited (acting as trustee for the Platinum Cactus A 2019 Trust), and Sumant Sinha, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of ReNew.
This proposed acquisition aims to take full ownership of ReNew by the consortium, which already includes Sinha, Masdar, CPP Investments, and Platinum Hawk.
