India, Nov. 2 -- Shares of Reliance Industries surged over 7% in Monday's trade after the company reported a record quarterly profit of Rs. 29,550 crore for the July-September quarter, registering a 33.8% year-on-year growth.
The stock climbed 7.12% to Rs. 1,246.45 on the BSE, while on the NSE, it gained 6.79% to Rs. 1,244.
The sharp rally boosted the company's market capitalisation by nearly Rs. 1 lakh crore.
