India, July 23 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will conduct an underwriting auction for the sale of Government Securities (G-Secs) worth Rs. 28,000 crore on July 24, 2026, under the Government of India's borrowing programme.

The auction comprises:

New Government Security (GS) 2041 – Rs. 17,000 crore 7.43% GS 2076 – Rs. 11,000 crore

The auction will be conducted through the multiple price-based method, with Primary Dealers (PDs) submitting bids electronically via the e-Kuber system between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Underwriting commissions will be credited to the respective PDs' RBI current accounts on the date of issuance of the securities.
