India, Aug. 28 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday announced it will conduct an Overnight Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
The notified amount for the auction is ?75,000 crore with a one-day tenor. The bidding window will remain open from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, with the reversal scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025.
The central bank said the auction will be conducted as per the operational guidelines outlined in its press release dated February 13, 2020.
