India, Aug. 26 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will conduct an overnight Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction on Thursday, August 27, to manage liquidity conditions in the banking system.
The central bank has notified an amount of Rs 2,00,000 crore for the auction, with a one-day tenor. The auction will be conducted between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM on August 27, with the funds scheduled for reversal on August 28, 2026.
The RBI said the auction will be conducted under the existing operational guidelines for VRRR auctions.
