India, Aug. 4 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the validity of its regulatory directions on The Pusad Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Pusad, Yavatmal, Maharashtra, for a further three months, up to the close of business on November 7, 2026, subject to review.

The directions, issued under Section 35A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, were initially imposed in November 2025 and had previously been extended until August 7, 2026.

The RBI said the extension has been made in the public interest, while clarifying that it should not be interpreted as an indication that the central bank is satisfied with the bank's financial position.
