India, May 4 -- The Reserve Bank of India has approved the voluntary amalgamation of The Bhavani Sahakari Bank Ltd. with TJSB Sahakari Bank Ltd.
The approval has been granted under the provisions of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. The merger will come into effect from May 4, 2026.
Following the amalgamation, all branches of The Bhavani Sahakari Bank will operate as branches of TJSB Sahakari Bank from the effective date.
