India, Sept. 21 -- Premier Energies has commissioned a 7 GW N-type TOPCon G12R solar cell manufacturing facility in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, taking its total solar cell manufacturing capacity to 10.6 GW.
Spread across 101 acres, the facility was developed at a capital expenditure of Rs 3,293 crore. The company described it as India's largest solar cell manufacturing plant.
The commissioning marks a significant expansion of Premier Energies' solar manufacturing capabilities and strengthens its presence in the domestic renewable energy manufacturing sector.
