India, Oct. 30 -- NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced the commencement of commercial operations of 95.6 MW capacity of its Kalasar Solar Energy Project, located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on Friday.
Following the addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Group has increased to 91,668 MW, while its commercial capacity has reached 90,588 MW, according to the company's exchange filing.
NGEL serves as the umbrella company for the green energy business initiatives of state-owned power major NTPC.
