India, July 30 -- NLC India Ltd. has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Ltd. (NIRL), has secured an order from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) to develop a 900 MW solar power project.
The project was awarded through a tariff-based competitive bidding process, according to the company's regulatory filing.
Power generated from the project will be procured by GUVNL, marking another significant addition to NLC India's renewable energy portfolio and supporting India's clean energy expansion.
