India, Aug. 13 -- The National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) and the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) have jointly launched the second edition of their four-month certification course for audit committee members and independent directors. The program was inaugurated on 12 August 2025 in New Delhi.
This initiative stems from a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between NFRA and IICA in October 2024 to enhance knowledge and capacity in corporate governance. The first course, "The Directors' Certification Program for Audit Committee Members", was conducted from January to May 2025 and saw participation from 79 professionals.
