India, Sept. 9 -- N Franklin Jayakumar has assumed charge as Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL), a Singrauli-based subsidiary of Coal India Ltd.
He took over the position on Tuesday. Jayakumar brings over 34 years of experience in mechanised underground and opencast coal and lignite mining operations across India and overseas.
