India, Oct. 15 -- The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) for the establishment of three new Dr. Ambedkar Chairs at Mumbai University, Jaipur National University, and GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. The signing ceremony was held on October 15, 2025, at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC) in New Delhi.
The event was presided over by Dr. Virendra Kumar, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, and attended by Shri Amit Yadav, Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, senior officials, representatives from the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, and Vice Chancellors of the participating universities.
